I went to Umbrella for the first time today and was very happy with Christian’s work. My hair was very long, thick and heavy. It had no volume. Christian suggested to have some layers and he styled my bangs really well. I feel so much lighter, but still able to keep my length. I’ll def come back to Christian. The price for my haircut was almost $200 and it’s totally worth every penny.

After years of looking around for a stylist that would take care of my hair, I found Christian.  He is very talented and certainly creative.
I have received more complements on my hair in the last year than in the last 5 years before Christian.
The salon is very chic, clean and upbeat.  If you want an experience, try Christian at Umbrella Salon.  it is worth the price.

Umbrella is still the best, and Christian helps steer the ship as one of the main leaders by providing the most progressive forward thinking styles in the industry. If you want the latest styles, then your in good hands with Christian.

This review is for Christian and his adorable assistant. I LOVED everything about my first experience at Umbrella today. I am from NYC and I have been looking for a stylist that could not only deal with my ethnic curly hair but one that could make me look and feel beautiful. Christian listened to what I wanted and was very informative every step of the process. Loved how my blow out came out, my balayage chocolate color, and my bangs. Christian was wonderful and super sweet. Will be coming back very very soon.

I can’t help it – I am in love with Christian! I’ve had super thick and long hair for as long as I can remember, but last week, Christian gave me the most amazzzzing long bob (lob?). I’ve never received more compliments on my hair, even on days when I have the worst bed head and can’t be bothered to do my hair. He always gives me super fun and flirty cuts that match with my lifestyle. Pretty sure this short-do is my new signature cut. I love it so much and I can only count on Christian to be a part of my major life changes (i.e. Cutting my hair short)!

My haircut and coloring came out super cute, trendy and just fab! Umbrella is absolutely COVID19 compliance. ThankU for your attentive and excellent services, and best of all, for me, happiness is beautiful cut and hair!

I have been coming to Umbrella salon for years and I have one of the best stylists in the Bay Area, in my opinion.
Christian Ceja Complin is a professional through and through! He has been doing hair for many years and has been doing  Fashion week in New York and Paris.
He listens to what I want, but knows exactly what I need, so he will suggest something that will compliment me and at the same time will not have me regretting it as soon as I walk out.
He takes the time to get to know his clients, and does everything in his power to make sure you are happy with the results!
When I was laid off and couldn’t afford to come here, I just let my hair go…I would not trust anyone else with my hair or my daughters.
This is why I call him the Hair God, and for good reason! I always leave looking and feeling AH-MAZING!!
He also has an incredible assistant, Diana Garcia, who has leaned so much working under his wing, she is now branching out and building her own clientele at the salon.
I drive here from work in South SF and then drive home to Pleasanton. They are so worth it!!
